He is supported in this by his ongoing work as a master electrical tradesman, which allows him to be down-to-earth and feel the concrete operational challenges of everyday working life.

  • His book “Management. The Essence” published in Handelsblatt Fachmedien Verlag, sums up everything that is necessary and really important for effective management.

  • He runs 1,800 km a year, collecting discarded beer bottles and cans and donates the deposits to charities.

  • He loves very good espresso and knows almost everything about its making.
